Hailed as "Headquarters of the American Revolution" the Green Dragon Tavern was a favorite for Paul Revere and the Sons of Liberty. The Green Dragon Tavern is a comfortable place with a real European atmosphere, cheap eats and 20 imported beers. In the restaurant lunch and dinner favorites include toppling sandwiches, burgers and traditional Irish Fare. Irish Breakfast is served every Saturday from 11am to 4pm. At the bar enjoy hearty bar food, like cheese nachos, mohawk trail chicken fingers and red coat spicey buffalo wings. There are live bands at the Green Dragon Tavern, Wednesdays through Saturdays and Irish tunes in-between. Hailed as a "hotbed" meeting place by it's founding fathers, the Green Dragon Tavern continues that tradition today. It is a homey bar that caters to a casual crowd. But don't be surprised if you rub shoulders with Caroline Kennedy, the Boston Bruins or a famous celebrity in town.
